Went to my Kubota dealer today to buy a stay chain for the 3ph, I only wanted 1 side. I thought JD's were known for being pricy, but $80.00 for 1 stay chain which is basicly a turn buckle. I'll be looking at after market.

At least on mine I'd be surprised if I couldn't rig up something from chain hardware from a dealer. Might have to do a bit of looking to find turnbuckles with locking nuts though. I'd take care to keep the same grade mounting bolts. I don't know if the chains are expected to shear to keep things from breaking or not. Still, when all is said and done, chain hardware isn't cheap either and for $80 I wouldn't have to do any looking and fiddling. ....
